Latest Rally News.

Loire river levels. 19.00 hrs., Wednesday 22nd. May.
Although the river is higher than normal there are no severe flood warnings in place at this time.
Alternative arrangements have been made in case of flooding.

The rally team is assembled in Gennes and are finalising the programme.

Evening programme:
Saturday - 7.00 pm. Welcome party with drinks and nibbles.
Monday - 6.00 - 8.00 pm. Local market of food and drink on the campsite.
Tuesday - 7.00 pm. Cycle Jumble/Pétanque. A takeaway pizza van will be in the Car park from 6.00 pm.
Wednesday - 7.00 Bingo Party (Could be fun in French)
Thursday - 7.00 Tandem Games.
Friday - 7.00 pm. Barbecue Party with local group of musicians and dancers. (A local butcher will supply and cook your food. Please order on the form supplied in your Rally Pack). You are welcome to bring your own picnic and/or  BBQ.

Each day there will be tea/coffee available in the marquee at the end of your ride.

When you arrive please:

Collect boat trip tickets. 
Book bus tickets (€3.00 per person) if you want to ride into Saumur for the boat trip.
Order your Barbecue food on the form provided.

Boat trip arrangements:
Option 1) Travel by bus, departs campsite at 9.00 am., and board the boat in Saumur at 10.00 am. The bus will return from Saumur at 4.30.pm.
Option 2) Make your own way to the picnic site in Saumur, where there will be secure arrangements for your tandem. You will then be taken to the boat for 1.00 pm. departure just a short walk away.
